A Gentle Start: Your Newborn Journey
Newborn sessions are designed to be slow, relaxed, and guided by your baby.
Newborn Sessions
Once booked, you’ll receive my newborn guide to help you feel prepared and at ease. I’ll note your expected due date as a guide, and once your baby has arrived and you’re feeling ready, simply get in touch and I’ll offer available dates — ideally within the first two weeks, or later if you’d prefer more time to recover.
The session can be held in the comfort of your home or in my Suffolk photography studio, depending on what feels right for you. Every newborn session is completely baby-led. There’s no rush, no pressure, and no expectations — we move at your baby’s pace. Whether that means extra feeding, cuddles, or moments of quiet settling, everything is allowed. This gentle approach creates a calm environment where natural, meaningful images can unfold, keeping your baby comfortable and content throughout the session.

aFTER YOUR NEWBORN sESSION
Following your newborn photography session, I’ll begin carefully editing your images to reflect my natural, timeless style. A preview gallery will be delivered within 2–3 weeks, showcasing lightly refined images so you can enjoy the first glimpse of your baby and the story of your session.
You’ll receive a link to your private online viewing gallery, password-protected for your peace of mind. Depending on your chosen package, you can then select your favourite digital images and prints directly from the gallery. I’m always on hand to help guide you through your selections.
Once your final choices are made, I’ll complete a final detailed edit on your selected images. Final delivery is typically within 3–4 weeks. For full-package clients, all images are fully edited from the outset, with the complete gallery delivered within 3–4 weeks.
Your gallery will remain open for two weeks, giving plenty of time to make your selections. For full-package clients, the gallery stays live for six months, allowing easy downloading and access to all your newborn images.

By taking a gentle, relaxed approach, everyone feels comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. There’s no pressure to pose or perform. Instead, I encourage you to interact, move, and simply be together. Often, the most meaningful images are created in these quiet, in-between moments.
Family sessions can take place in your home, in the studio, or outdoors in a natural setting such as a beach, woodland, or open field. I’m happy to guide you when choosing a location, taking into account the season, the light, and the feeling you’d love your images to hold.
Family sessions aren’t just for those with little ones — I also love photographing families with older children and extended families, capturing the connections that continue to grow over time.

I take a relaxed, unobtrusive approach, letting the session flow at your pace. There’s no pressure to pose — I guide you with simple prompts and encourage natural movement and interaction.
