A Suffolk-based photographer, educator and creative studio owner, specialising in natural brand, portrait and wedding photography.
With over 10 years of experience, I've worked with individuals, businesses and creatives across Suffolk, Essex, Norfolk and beyond, creating imagery that feels authentic, timeless and true to each story.
My approach is rooted in capturing natural, wholesome moments — whether that’s producing considered brand photography that elevates your business, or documenting meaningful memories through portraits and weddings.
Every session is guided by connection, storytelling and a refined, organic aesthetic.
A little about me...
My photographic journey began at the age of 10, when I first picked up a camera — the starting point of a lifelong passion for photography. In 2012, Mikaela Jade Photography was founded, growing into an established Suffolk-based photography business.
I studied Fine Art, later completing my MA in Photography in 2021, and spent eight years teaching art and photography. This strong educational background continues to influence my work, from thoughtful composition to a calm, guided approach during every photography session.
In 2022, I transitioned into full-time professional photography, specialising in brand photography, portrait photography and weddings across Suffolk, Essex, Norfolk and beyond.
Today, my photography studio is based in Tuddenham, Suffolk, where I photograph families, individuals and brands, and run photography workshops and creative education within my photographic darkroom through Illuminate Studio.
